To help the general population (physically, mentally,
emotionally), the Rapha Unlimited counselling team conducted a
webinar on “Lockdown Crisis Counselling” via the Zoom platform, 30
Counsellors were trained.
The goal was to equip them to initiate and engage in neighborhood
counselling in their own capacities - to provide guidance to those
who were facing mental illness on account of the Covid-19
situation and lockdown.
Rapha Unlimited provided 2000 neighborhood-and-hospital masks for free to the surrounding hospitals and public who are otherwise being exposed to social contact. The neighborhood masks were created in-house with another NGO and are washable. Hence, they can be reused.
Rapha Unlimited was also involved in the provision of food items (Rice Dhal, Cooking Oil etc) at 11 different locations to three categories of people: factory workers, migrant laborers and tribal people during the comprehensive lockdown as many were without jobs or income.
